I don't know about production but, there was this company in Blountsville,Al that built a few special order trucks I was priviledged to see before they were disasembled and shipped to the northwest.
They were as large as those giant electric driven yuke dumps used in the giant mining pits except it had these giant 4x4 axles and used giant diesel engines. It had a cab and frontend that favored a giant kenworth. everything including the axles were custom built.
