I'm trying to plan a QUIET, safe route from south Chicago to Fairfield. Something with two lanes one way where a 40 m.p.h. vehicle won't be so much of a hazard. Near to local service stations, towing companies, etc.

Old Lincoln Highway? other suggestions?
