tranny mounting

I'm just about done putting a 318/727 into my M-37, but I cannot figure out what size the bolts that hold the bottom of the tail shaft to the mount are. 3/8 course is just too loose and 7/16 too big. tried fine threads, tried metric...no go. This is pure stupid..I need help!
