I have owned a few and seen a lot more power hammers for blacksmithing that had bronze or babbitt bearings. The main problems with grease is getting uniform coverage across the bearing surfaces. I use a power hammer oil sold by Sid Sudemeier who now owns the Little Giant hammer parts/business in Nebraska. It looks like a cross between way libe, ATF and chain lube.
