A standard car Hauler is 18 foot, long steel decked, No railing ,wrap around toungue, brakes both axles,Larger deck between axles There are small variations between manufactures but that is a basic run down. 16ft Utility trailers are 16 ft Utility trailers. You will get lucky untill the time you are no longer lucky and hopefully no one gets hurt are property damaged The weight rating on the axles also includes the weight of thje trailer if the tires are pointing in at the top the trailer is loaded to heavy. You get what you pay for. and only you know how much your PW or health is worth and generally a 3/4 ton vehicle is a safer way to pull a duelly being best I can tell you a story if you want about my return trip from Iowa and a blow out right rear outer tire hauling two wdxs on a 9000# 48ft trailer the tires had only 6000 miles on them ( and yes you can find the lord in the most amazing times) got over and made it 6 miles on the good tire to a truck stop back on the road in under an hour. That made a believer out of MIssouri John as one of the trucks on the rear of the trailer was his and he was following me with his other wm300 and he decided that his haul truck would be 1 ton with duel wheels and that is what he bought just my two cents.
