All the trucks from the M880 family (the cargo, ambulance, and the contact maintenance trucks) had 318 V8's, 727 automatic tranny's, and the NP 203 full-time transfer case. If this truck has a 5 speed tranny, someone put it in after the military surplused it. Robert
