0% grade is flat ground.
5% grade is a five foot rise in 100 feet traveled.
30% grade is a 30 foot rise in 100 feet.
35% grade is a 35 foot rise in 100 feet. Jeep brags their new Wagoneer can do this.
65% grade is a 65 foot rise in 100 feet, and that happens to be the max grade for an M37 with 1500 lbs of payload.
100% grade is a 100 foot rise per 100 feet, which happens to be a 45 degree angle.
114% grade is supposedly the max empty grade a WWII Dodge 3/4 Weapons Carrier can negotiate. That's a 114 foot rise in 100 feet, or more than a 45 degree angle.
