Hi Gang

Today I found an NP540DD in an early '60s D500 with a 383. I can probably get the hole engine trans combo pretty cheap, no I ain't tellin where it's at! Can DD 540 be converted to an OD? is it just a matter of changing gear clusters? I'll probably go get it anyway, but it sure would be nice to put an OD 540 behind the 440 that's going in my '70 W200 Crew Cab!

I also scored a complete "bucket/bench" seat with the center console and flip down arm rest for 60 bucks.
