This is interesting. I have a TC from a B4 (1953) and my C3 (1956). When I rebuilt my 56 using some of the 53 parts, they all were the same parts as the 56. I didn't see any differences. My 47-56 parts book shows the same number for the front input/output shafts, the clutch/high/low gears, and the rear output shafts.

If the input shaft was changed, also the clutch gear would have been changed to match it. If both matching parts are used, that shouldn't be a problem.

Do we know if Dave has taken his TC apart?
