Someone tooled up to make the unique parts of the Command Car instead.
There would have to be a market for reproduction;
Hood frames.
Tailgates.
Running boards.
Battery boxes.
The only 'technical' bits of a Command Car on the actual bodies are the wire-turned edges. I reckon about 50% of all Command cars are either missing one (or more) of the above parts or have really bad repros.
Don't get me started on Carryalls either.....
