To measure the offset you can lay a straight edge across the leading edge of the rim on both sides and measure back to the inside and the outside face of the bolt holes. I think this is what you are looking for. I believe the stock rim is narrower than the ones you are having built, but the wider rim should handle the bigger tires better. Please let me know how these new rims work. I have a '68 W300 that I would like to have new rims for.
