This is in fact a hoax which has been going around for some time.
The file SULFNK.EXE is the file which enables you to read files with filenames longer than the old DOS traditional eight.three filename.
We used to be limited to EIGHTAAA.DOC.
Now we can use filenames as long as 256 characters - that is until you delete the file cited above.
If you already deleated it, get a copy of the file from a friend's (clean) computer and copy it to its original location.
This is a hoax perpetrated by someone not smart enmough to write a real virus.
Truth is, you should all be using Anti-Virus software anyway. It is cheap insurance!
