Driveshaft Balancing

Do you folks recommend balancing for driveshafts? I've replaced my u-joints and will soon install the driveshafts. I know they were balanced from the factory, and you have to line up the arrows, but I don't know how good the factory balance was, or if something has made it change in 53 years.

How much should I expect to pay for balancing?

My truck is a '49 flatfender PW.
