Interior handle repair?

Can the door & window handles for a FlatFender be repaired if the handle has a fracture where it fits over the square shaft?
Shy of replacement... any thoughts on how to repair the broken handle is greatly appreciated! The rest of the handle is in great shape and probably would work for a while longer, but it will only be a matter of time before the metal breaks completely unless it is corrected (if it can be) now. Thanks!
