brake on 84 dodge

Boy am I having fun. The left rear drum keeps over adjusting itself to the point that the truck will not move. If I “unadjusted” it the brake is fine. Than some time later the drum over adjusts and stops. I have replaced the wheel cylinder in case it stuck no luck. I also replaced the shoes and grease the contact points, no luck. Change the springs that are on top by the wheel cylinder, no luck. I’m thinking about the adjustment cable next. Has anybody had this problem before?
