=================================================

1) Danish WM300 CLOSED CAB!! available...

=================================================

This is a closed cab, from our group of Danish WM300's
we brought back from Europe in the fall of 2000. This
is the only closed cab from this group we have left.
We've been working on this truck, and it is now in very
good running and driving condition. Truck is very
complete, super clean, straight body, excellent sheet
metal, no rust. Winch is like new -- still has the
cosmoline on the cable! Clean Iowa title included.

You can see this truck at
http://www.vintagepowerwagons.com/products/vehicles/europe/vehicle122.htm

=================================================

2) Beds available for 1946-68 Civilian Power Wagons

=================================================

We are offering a limited selection of very nice WM300
beds, including fenders & tailgate. The beds will fit
any '46-68 flat-fendered Civilian Power Wagon. Very
straight, no rust -- great condition.

We are bringing in these beds from overseas, and expect
them to arrive some time in mid-late March.
Take advantage of our 10% early-order discount for beds
purchased and paid for by the end of the business day,
March 1st.
With the pre-order discount, bed price is $1,800.
But remember, discount only applies through this Friday,
March 1st! After March 1st, price is $2,000.
Selection is limited, so order now!

Call our toll-free telephone # for more information,
or to place an order.

Toll Free: 1-888-695-0578

=================================================

3) Running Board Pairs for 1946-58 Civ. PW

=================================================

Been looking for running boards?!! Good ones are not
easy to come by...
We have a limited quantity of excellent take-off
running board pairs arriving some time in March from
overseas. Very straight, no rust. These will fit any
'46-58 flat-fendered civilian Power Wagon.

Price per pair: $500

Call our toll-free telephone # for more information,
or to place an order.

Toll Free: 1-888-695-0578

=================================================

4) Closeout Special continues on our Danish
WM300 Open Cabs!

=================================================

SPECIAL CLOSEOUT PRICE !
We still have some open cab WM300 Power Wagons left.
We've put photographs of the specific trucks for sale
up on our web site. To see the WM300's, go to

http://www.vintagepowerwagons.com/products/vehicles/europe/danish-trucks-for-sale-pg1.htm

All these open cab Power Wagons now sold in "as-is"
condition without power takeoff and without winch
assembly -- NOW ONLY $1,500 TO $2,000! (PTO and winch
are available extra.) Yes, these trucks need some work,
but when was the last time you saw a WM300 Power Wagon
in this price range? Low mileage. These have been
outside for a number of years, so paint is peeling, some
rust on fenders and cab; most engines have stuck valves
from sitting. The trucks are fairly complete: most of
the parts that would be hard-to-find are on the trucks.
We stock a complete line of repair parts for these
vehicles. The tires are not new, but still have good
rubber on them. Nearly 20 of these WM300's to choose
from. (Get yours now!) This price is below our cost
-- remember we brought these trucks in from Denmark!
TAKE A LOOK-WHILE THEY LAST!

5) More parts & trucks arriving

=================================================

Some of our staff is overseas right now, loading more
parts & trucks to bring back to Vintage Power Wagons.
We'll have the details of what is available in a couple
of weeks. (The beds & running boards announced in this
Newsletter are part of this collection of items.)

We're running a little shorthanded this month, with a
portion of the staff being overseas. This may cause a
slight delay in response time for answering telephone
calls & emails. But all messages are answered.
Thank you for your patience.

6) Tech Tip #2

=================================================

VPW Tech Tips

We are going to be including Tech Tips in our
newsletters about once a month. (The newsletters go
out more often than that usually, so not every
newsletter will contain a Tech Tip.) We hope you find
the tips helpful.

Here's VPW Tech Tip #2:

PROBLEM:
Tired of fighting leaky steering box and winch seals??

Over the years we have discovered that it is almost
impossible to keep 80/90 weight gear oil in steering
boxes and winches as recommended. The side play of the
steering box sector shaft and the winch worm shaft wear
the seals out and then they leak. Gear oil is typically
used in gear boxes to lubricate, displace moisture and
to absorb heat generated by high speed rotation. Since
the bearings in steering boxes and winches do not have
any high speed rotation, we are really only dealing with
lubrication and moisture displacement.

SOLUTION:
Use something other than gear oil...
Years ago John Deere developed a product that's the
perfect cure for these applications. It's known as Corn
Head grease (the only place that you can get it is John
Deere). This grease has the ability to remain stable
regardless of temperature and may help you take care of the
leaky steering box and winch situation once and for all.
Give Corn Head grease a try and you'll be happy to never
have to deal with the mess of leaky steering box and
winch seals again.
