ported vacuum on ff

on dodge flat fenders that have vacuum advance dists, where does the vacuum hook up to on the manifold? or the carb? any help would be appreciated. i am trying to hook up a gm hei dist to my m-37 and need advice on where the best place to get vacuum is.
