Off Subject 2002 Ford SD

I am purchasing a 2002 Ford SuperDuty 4x4. I just came back from the auto show and I was told the front axles on the f250 and f350 is the DANA 50. I thought Ford had changed to the DANA 60 on these trucks? Any help, I would be grateful. Thank You.
