How many times are we sold an improper or defective part, and after 4 or 5 hours trying to make it work, return it and hear: "Oh, no problem. Try this one"? I've had it happen many times and I've read about it several times. What happened to quality control?
Last year my wirefeed welder ran out. I bought a new spool, smaller than the one I was replacing, but was assured by they sales guy that it would fit. I didn't need the welder until 6 months later when I discovered the new spool would not fit. I went back to the store and explained the problem. The sales guy took the smaller, incorrect spool back and gave me the larger, correct spool and declined any extra money from me. This is how a business should operate.
