I figured out why the new clutch I installed was not working. They sold me a clutch disc for a Ford. It's close and looks similar, but when I removed it, it was marked backward from a Dodge with the snout facing the transmission. The right diameter and spline, but it will not work on a Dodge. I thought that I was getting senile and had installed it backward. Besides being a 4-hourjob I got it replaced, and it is working fine now.
