A few years ago I purchased the exact same model bead breaker Bob references in his post and this tool that has made the process significantly easier. Breaking the bead to get it down into the drop-center was often the most difficult part of dismounting a tire. This is no longer the case when using this tool. I just use a wrench, no air, and it's easy. From there it's just tire irons/spoons.
