I have a hatchet that belonged to my grandfather. I'm 83, so you can try to imagine how old that hatchet is.
I read an article written by some ciy slicker newspaper columnist who proclaimed that he had his grandfather's hatchet. He then proceeded to expound on how, over the years, he had first replaced the handle, and a couple of years later replaced the head of the hatchet. I wonder if he ever realized that he no longer had his grandfather's hatchet?
