I purchased a full set with a spare. I drive my truck around town and use it as designed, no special treatment. From a liability standpoint I needed to get away from the 70+ year old lock ring rims. I know they can take a beating but I wasn’t taking a chance when a young family looks at the truck while I am in Lowe’s.
Tires are a Kenda, 35x10.50x17. Biggest I could go and still be in the spec of the tire for the 8 inch rim width.
I informed VPW that they need a 10 inch wide rim also.
