On my '47, the driver's door had gotten caught on something at one time or another and was swung clear into the front fender. It took me quite a while to "straighten" out the A pillar where the check arm was nearly pulled completely out of the cab, tearing metal badly in the process
There was no rubber bumper stop attached to the pillar. Maybe my cab is too early?
Now I am going to have to pull all of my kick panels off to check. Another adventure and learning experience awaits!
