In addition to the other great suggestions, if you have had your cab off the truck it has some adjustments as well. As Clint said, the mounts will impact the height and the entire cab can be moved around by loosening the four mounting bolts Not much, but when you are trying to fit a hood it can be an issue. After several days of doing what you are doing, I finally found a place I was satisfied with. Not much lines up perfectly on these old trucks.
