I'd look for the powervert wiring instructions to glean any tidbits about going from 6v+ ground to 12v- negative ground. There is some stuff to consider but if your truck accessories are already 12v positive, you are close. my command car is 12v, harness was built by precision many years back. i agree about being stock appearing, but i think the wires in precision are modern in construction but wrapped to look old.
