We've lived here since 1971. Lots of winter outages due to branches overloaded with snow and breaking off, damaging power lines. Seems like the more people, the more power lines. And the power companies refuse to switch to underground. Haven't always had a generator, maybe for the past 10 years. But it's sure nice when it's needed to have it ready to go. This new one, aside from all of the "liabiiity preventions", should be nice to be able to start from inside the house.
And I wanted to buy it now before the tariffs raise the prices.
