For those of you that have installed a V8 in your power-wagon and want to ensure you are getting the most MPG and HP, you can check to see if you have the right filter for your engine. I did a comparison of my current filter/element against what I need to achieve the max I can get using the right filter. The comparison shows I need a 4" tall element, oiled felt, to get the most out of my engine. Image 1 shows my current setup and image 2 shows what I can do to improve. You might want to check your engine and see where you stand. Now to find that element. Here is the link.
