Buddy of mine works on the GMC/Chevy WW2 trucks and others picked up a 41 1/2 Ton Dodge Command car. It has a D34 car engine with Offenhauser double carbs/exhaust and a unique transmission, a Warner Gear T9. I'm not sure but I think that is a Ford transmission matted to a ford bellhousing to a Dodge engine. The truck wouldn't start and after tracing wires, and cleaning connections we found the wire in the distributor that goes from the power terminal to the points had the material fabrication rotted off and was grounded, taped on new installation and we got it started. Interesting.
