Too quiet! After back tracking, I now have the new 3/4 bore Clutch Master Cylinder installed to match the hydraulic throw-out bearing requirement. The piston travel of the MCM is 1-1/4 and the pedal can travel 2, so I should be fine, but a little further checking may be required to determine if I must limit the pedal travel. MCM sets in the same spot as the old CMC, and images at the link has parts and notes that will be in next version of the PIF. The U shaped tool is for measuring distance between clutch cover finger ends, bell housing machine surface and bearing to tranny machine surface. The shims in the bearing image are .050 each and you set the clearance between .050 and .100 so clearance is close. You could probably use other means to measure, however the tool would be the most accurate. TB kit comes with a 4AN line and I ordered a 4 foot line, now it might be too short with the new MCM.
Next weekend son-law and I will install tranny in truck. More pictures to follow.
