removing bed from my M37

As I proceed with disassembly of my truck I am at the point where I want to get the bed off the frame. I have the DoD manuals and located the points along the frame where the attaching bolts are. My problem is the nuts on them are pretty much destroyed by rust. The is very little room to get my grinder in there due to the way the frame brackets are made. I need another method to cut the bolts. I was thinking about using an oxy- acetylene torch. I have one but never used it. Does this make sense? Any tips appreciated.
