I had great luck with NAPA's paint matching computer camera. It doesn't need any code. My '63 Flat Fender Brush Truck had been re-painted by FD members roundabout the late 60's in a Fed mandated hi viz yellow. I stripped the bed and cleaned up some nasty welds. I then repainted to match the cab. NAPA nailed it first time incorporating all the fade and washings. I can't post photos, unfortunately.
