With high confidence, I don’t believe the issue is the DOT 5 fluid. The issue is the detestable
quality of the off shore, of mainly Communist China parts. With that said we can circumvent this issue of leaking hydraulic pressure switch. I would go to Grainger.com or McMaster Carr and look at hydraulic pressure switches. The switch you need is simple, normally open contacts that close with pressure applied. You may need to buy a fitting to adapt from your old switch to the new switch…..simple. I would put a pressure gauge on the hydraulic line to determine what is the pressure with the brake pedal pushed with slight pressure so you get brake lights with a small pedal push. Grainger.com is my first stop for QUALITY parts for my projects. Reasonable prices and very fast shipping and no junk.
