Glad you found a good combination. When the transmission is in 4th gear, it still spins the cluster gear and if worn, it will make noise. As far as the Tcase, moving the propeller shaft to the brake yoke is minimal because the intermediate gear in the Tcase still spins and turns the right driven gear. The only way to get true straight-through on the Tcase is to install an NP205 Tcase. That’s something you might want to consider as a future project. Thanks Torvald for posting the results!
