2 Speed Transfer Case Roller Bearing Question

Putting my transfer case back together. Question about the rollers. 35 came out of each side, the parts book calls for 35. There is a gap not quite wide enough to get #36 in. The old ones measure .157" diameter, the NOS ones in the rebuild kit are .155" diameter. The total difference in side would add up to approximately 1/16". Is a gap this width normal?
