Yes.
Spray down your item needing paint and/or grease removal with a cheap oven cleaner.
Allow to set and spray off with hose.
Repeat if needed, and/or use pressure washer.
I always spray down a motor with oven cleaner to remove grease and oil before breaking it down, it makes a difference and removes paint for good bonding of new paint prior to rebuild as well.
