Thank you all for the confirmation that the slow fill is normal for these critters. I enjoyed the comments on ways of dealing with the slow fill and actually enjoying the leisurely pace. I do intend to extend the filler vent tube a few inches so that it enters the tank 2 to 3 inches, that might prevent the burbling. I’ll keep you posted on the results of the extension.
