I noticed in the 5 gal container of EZ Flow that I bought about 25 or 30 years ago there is always a very thin layer of oil on the surface of the grease. The rest of it is about the same consistency as pudding. It flows very slowly when poured from the bucket. Thicker than oil and thinner than grease.
I had a '68 Ford with a leaky Dana 24 TC. A mechanic recommended this as a "temporary" fix for leaky seals. I drove the truck for several years after and never did change the seals.
