What gets me is now the government agaencies/schools are saying the rise in costs are so much they need more money to operate. So...more levies and people here are dumb enough to just keep passing the stuff. They do voting normally some time other than major election time to get them through. I pay $1593.00 for the local VOLUNTEER fire department and they just passed another levy. Both schools did as well. It's getting to the point where a lot of elderly people on fixed incomes are having to sell their land to pay for taxes. It's what they want though as small parcels for houses bring in more tax revenue than farm ground. Just sad. Oh, buy the way. Our local school also has an income tax as well so you get to pay twice for that. they couldn't have the kids learning in that old school so they started to build a mega school during all this and these inflated costs. Guess who will get to pay for all of that?
