pressurized cooling system

Hey guys I seem to be finding mixed reviews on putting a regular pressurized radiator cap on my power wagon, its a 1950 B2 and has a NOS radiator on it and I was thinking on running a regular pressurized radiator cap on it that would release around 8 to 10 psi and I had a fellow tell me that the radiator will not stand up to that kind of pressure, is this true? And do you more knowledgeable folks recommend NOT running a pressurized cooling system in this truck? Thoughts greatly appreciated!
