Thanks Jerry. Any suggestions for the valves that are closed and have rust all around them? I'd think they'd be "cemented" into their seats.

If soaking doesn't free things up, is next step to remove the rod caps and start trying to tap a piston at a time?

Thx, I'm new to tearing into engines.
