While wiring my headlights I came across an interesting thing. My original wiring harness was nearly non-existent, so using it to build a new harness could not be done. When it came to the headlights I was concerned about which socket in the 3-prong receptacle went with which wire, but when I cleaned the receptacles I found them neatly labeled with Pass, Drive, and Ground. It turns out that Pass is the high beams and Drive is the low beams. This is opposite of what I expected, anyone have comments on the rational for the labeling?
