Hello guys well just an update and of course a question.
I got the rear main replaced in my 1950 Power Wagon and everything back into the chassis, I pulled the cab up and out of the way during this process because of fear of scratching the new paint. Today I bolted the cab back in place and will now move on to the bed. Since the cab is not movable in its position, I mean 4 bolt holes and they are all just round so no adjustment there. Can you tell me how do I position the box, how far from the back of the cab should it be? Do I use the cab as the point of reference since its a fixed and non adjustable component or is there a reference point on the frame I am supposed to be using? I would like to get the bed mounted and then do the fenders and running boards, is this the correct method to accomplish this? All thoughts appreciated!
