Yes, I'm pretty sure the metal prep is phosphoric acid.
Lately I have been using the brand "Phospho". It is cheaper, and I buy it as a gallon. IT really works well. I use it on all freshly blasted metal to prevent humidity in the air from flashing/starting to rust the metal if I can't paint it immediately with epoxy primer.
