My painter is great he can blend paint and clear and color match after damage repair and you can not tell it has been done, he says the insurance company makes him warranty his work. Just look at all the new cars and some older factory has been clear coating cars and trucks for many years and made great improvements along the way for longevity. I think everyone that drives has a vehicle is clear coated. But everyone can have there choice when painting a old vehicle and that is a good thing
