My plan is to use my buckets. After I was the price of new ones, I started filling in the holes and restoring them, and even though they did not have all the little brackets we are talking about, I kept on working on them because I wanted to see how they would turn out. I was experimenting with developing new skills.
The photo is of one of the buckets close to finished. They need the clear coat cut and polished, and the brackets. Yes it is going to difficult to install the brackets with getting the paint hot, but I have a plan. It was after getting this far with the headlight buckets that I decided that I am going to paint the truck and paint it myself. Former plans were to leave it without paint and use it as is, but I found out that I really like painting, and I really, really like the results.
