Can't help you with the yoke height. But, are you sure you have the correct insulators to mount your cab? The early cab wood and pad insulators are completely different than the later rubber insulators. The truck frame changed to accommodate the new mounting technique.

If you are using the early insulators on a later frame, your cab could be sitting 3/4-inch too low in the rear.
