I think that area looks more like Marty's photo when the truck is stock. It actually consists of four pieces. The rocker panel, most of which can not be seen once the splash apron is installed, the splash apron the outer cab skin in front of the A pillar, and the small somewhat triangular section that shows in Marty's photo. Unlike Marty, I have grinded on my weld so that it is flush with the panels.
Marty, did you weld that all in one pass? Or did you stitch weld it?
