Note that some serial number lists will show the numbers "246" preceding the number 1298262 listed above. Sometimes there is also a dash "-" in the complete number and it can read either 246-1298262 or 2461-298262. This serial number sequence seems to have begun in 1961 and ran through 1969. However the parts lists during this time leave off these first three digits as well as the dash.

Please pardon my spelling mistakes in the first post.
