Hypothetical question:

You want a museum piece V41. You finally find one, and pay $12,000 for it.

Only to discover that it is made up of a V41 body on an M43 Ambulance frame.

Is it still worth $12,000?

Maybe a better example is this: Would you pay $10,000 for a what is supposed to be a museum piece authentic GPW after you discover the Ford script body is on a Willys frame?

With guns and cars, this would be considered a fake and worth a lot less. The difference between a fake Winchester 1873 "One of One Thousand" rifle and an authentic one is over $100,000. The difference between a fake Shelby GT-500 and a real one could be as much as $75,000. Would that matter to you?
Does the same rule apply to military trucks? Or does it not matter as long as the end result looks OK?
